Soc Son Waste-to-Energy Plant – Hanoi City

The Soc Son Waste-to-Energy Plant began operations in Q3/2022, with a generation capacity of 75MW.
Utilizing Waterleau (Belgium) mechanical grate incineration technology, the plant operates five incinerators and three power-generating units, processing up to 5,500 tons of wet waste per day and night. The electricity generated not only powers the plant itself but is also fed into the national grid. Additionally, bottom ash from the incineration process is repurposed as construction material.
VAS Green Steel takes pride in contributing to the construction of Vietnam’s largest and the world’s second-largest waste-to-energy plant.
