Trường Tiền Bridge (Tràng Tiền Bridge)
Trường Tiền Bridge (also known as Tràng Tiền Bridge) is a historical landmark that deeply reflects the era of the ancient capital with its impressive design resembling a harp.
This was the first steel bridge constructed in Indochina at the end of the 19th century and the early 20th century, built in Gothic architectural style, incorporating new techniques and materials from the West. The Trường Tiền Bridge features a sturdy steel structure, with a total length of 402.6 meters, consisting of 6 spans shaped like a harp, with each span having a length of 67 meters.
For over 100 years, this bridge has connected the two banks of the poetic Perfume River, standing strong through time, showcasing a unique beauty tinted with an antique charm. It has become a part of the historical culture of the ancient capital, Hue, bridging the past, present, and future.
