As a pioneer in the green transformation of heavy industry in Vietnam, VAS Group applies a circular economy model with the "Green, Clean" orientation, steadfastly implementing sustainable production strategies by "recycling" scrap iron and steel into VAS Green Steel that meets international standards.
At the Nghi Son Port Logistics Area – the starting point of the VAS Green Steel production process, scrap iron and steel are sorted, pre-processed, and cleaned before being fed into the factory. At the factory, the Group utilizes induction furnaces (without using DO oil or coal) along with cutting-edge technology lines from Danieli (Italy), reducing CO2 emissions by over 40% compared to traditional technologies. Each "recycled" steel bar ensures flexibility and tensile strength, meeting international standards: Japan (JIS), United Kingdom (BS4449), United States (ASTM, SAE, J403), Australia (ACRS), and EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification.
With over 25 years of steadfast leadership on the journey of "Recycling to Build," the Group is proud to execute the sustainable VAS Green Steel strategy, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and aiming for carbon neutrality in the future – rightfully earning the title of the leading Green Steel enterprise in Vietnam.
