Cao Văn Lầu Theatre

Located in the heart of Bac Lieu city, the Cao Văn Lầu Theatre, with its simple and familiar conical hat design, is considered a place to preserve the cultural and artistic heritage of the Mekong Delta region.

Covering a total area of 2,262m², the theatre consists of three buildings shaped like conical hats leaning towards each other. The Cao Văn Lầu Theatre symbolizes the strength of unity and the cultural intersection of three ethnic groups: Kinh, Hoa, and Khmer. Notably, the largest conical hat, which stands over 24 meters tall with a diameter of up to 45 meters, has earned the theatre the record for the "Largest Three Conical Hat-Shaped Theatres in Vietnam."

The "three conical hats" theatre has long been a venue for exhibitions and prominent art events in Bac Lieu city, contributing to attracting visitors to explore and experience the unique culture and identity of the region.
