Hanoi Museum

In 2010, on the occasion of the 1,000th anniversary of Thăng Long – Hanoi, the Hanoi Museum officially opened its doors to both domestic and international visitors, promoting the image and historical culture of the thousand-year-old capital.
As the largest and most modern museum in Vietnam, it stands 30.7 meters tall and covers an area of 11,952 square meters. Its unique architectural design resembles an inverted pyramid. Inside, artifacts are displayed in a spiral layout, blending cultural influences, with a dragon at the center, complemented by winding rivers that evoke memories of Cổ Loa Citadel and the Thăng Long – Rising Dragon symbol.
